Planning a wedding is one thing. But deciding on a honeymoon destination? That’s something else entirely! Your honeymoon is your time alone with your new spouse to relax and be away from your day to day lives. It’s probably the most lavish vacation you will probably ever take, so you’ve got to make it a good one!
But this isn’t just any trip! Honeymoon’s are meant to be intimate and romantic! Think of all the stuff you see on The Bachelor wrapped into one awesome adventure! Obviously depending on your budget you may not be able to travel the whole world, but you can at least pick one place from our honeymoon ideas below!

It truly is the happiest place on earth! Whether you’re a Disney aficionado or not, you have to admit, the park is amazing! This is the perfect honeymoon trip if you’re leaning towards saving money and staying in the US. Put on your matching Mickey and Minnie ears, get some good walking shoes and go Disney bound! Pick a time of year that works with your schedule and budget and be sure to get park hopper passes so that you can visit Disneyland AND California Adventure!

This may be an obvious choice and done many times over but you really can’t deny the cool misty air, gorgeous ocean waves, and colorful natural beauty of Hawaii. Each individual island has its own unique experiences, but the island of Maui has to be our favorite! Take a road trip on the Road to Hana, go snorkeling, hit up a Luau, or get some sun on one of the island's beautiful soft sandy beaches. While your plane is landing, make sure to look out your window to see the whole island from a bird’s eye view, it’s really cool!

Oh Italy, the vacation of our dreams! And a romantic honeymoon no less? We could absolutely swoon! There’s a little something for everyone here, historical landmarks like the leaning tower of Pisa, world renowned art, high fashion... not to mention this is WINE COUNTRY. Go shopping at the local bazaar’s, visit gorgeous temples like Wat Rong Khun or Wat Doi Suthep, or say hello to the local wildlife at the Kanta Elephant Sanctuary!
If your idea of fun is pub crawls, lively music scenes, exploring ancient castles, hiking through oceanside cliffs, and learning how whiskey is made, then a honeymoon in Ireland is perfect for you! When you think of Germany, the first things that come to your mind are probably beer festivals and bratwurst. But this beautiful country is so much more! Go beer tasting, enjoy the local cuisine, take in some culture at the many museum’s, visit Neuschwanstein Castle, see the gorgeous green pastures of Berchtesgaden, or take a romantic stroll through The Englischer Garten (The English Garden).
